The Division Individual Championships is our biggest event where all six teams in the division compete in an individual championship meet. Each team may enter 2 swimmers for each event, and a swimmer may enter no more than 2 events. The Divisional events include: freestyle, backstroke, breastroke, butterfly, and IM. If a team does not have 2 swimmers, other teams may "bid" other swimmers to fill the empty lanes. This is an individual meet and is not scored. Selection of the swimmers depends on times swum in A meets. Within each age group, swimmers with the fastest recorded times during the season have their choice of events at Divisionals. This is the only event in which a swimmer may qualify to swim in the NVSL All Stars. To qualify, a swimmer must have one of the 18 fastest times in the NVSL in that event. If you don’t think your swimmer is fast enough to qualify, please do not let that deter you. We may have spots because of family vacations as well as other teams may have limited swimmers in a specific age group.
