Coach Tim Taylor is joining the Rolling Forest Tidal Waves for his first season as an assistant coach this year. He started off his swimming career in 1992 on the Brentwood YMCA summer league team in Nashville, TN, then swam club and summer league all over the south until going off to college, and has continued swimming masters ever since following a brief hiatus for college and grad school. Coach Tim's first foray into coaching was with the Wild Dunes Dolphins summer league team in Charleston, SC in 2008, then after a few years coaching the Dolphins, he switched to coaching club in 2012 upon being transferred to Northern Virginia for work. He coached the Potomac Marlins from 2012-2016, then has coached NCAP Alexandria ever since.
Fun fact: Coach Tim coached both Coach Aidan and Coach Liam on NCAP when they were younger.
Coach Tim is thrilled to join the Tidal Waves this season and is super pumped to get to know all the swimmers and families, help the swimmers swim fast, and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Go Tidal Waves!
Coach Liam Seiger is excited to return as an Assistant Coach this summer. Liam has been a swimmer for the Tidal Waves for 14 seasons, starting in Ripples when he was 5 years old. He is a year-round swimmer for NCAP Alexandria and was a competitor for NCAP Men's 2025 and 2026 Junior National Championship teams. Liam was captain of the West Springfield High School Men's Swim and Dive team that won the District and Regional Championships in 2025 and 2026 and was the Men's team MVP in 2026. Liam won a bronze medal in the 4x100 freestyle relay at the Virginia Class 6 State Championships in 2026 while setting a new West Springfield High School record. He set another high school record as a member of the 200 yard Medley Relay team and holds the Rolling Forest record in the 15-18 50 Meter Freestyle and as a member of the Mixed Age 200 Meter Freestyle Relay.
Liam is looking forward to working with all of the swimmers this summer to make the Tidal Waves the best team they can be!
